Insurance Is Personal. So Is My Approach.
Willnette Foxworth founded Foxworth Insurance Agency to give Carolina families a calmer, clearer path through the insurance buying experience. As an independent broker licensed in NC, SC, and Virginia, she works with multiple carriers — never one — so the recommendation is built around the client, not a single insurance company.
Whether you’re turning 65 and navigating Medicare for the first time, comparing ACA marketplace plans for your family, or layering on supplemental coverage, Willnette and her team take the time to listen, explain options in plain English, and follow up long after the policy is issued.

About Me
Why I Became An Advisor, Not A Salesperson.
Too many people are handed a policy they don’t understand and left to figure it out alone. I started Foxworth Insurance Agency to do the opposite.
I sit down with you first. We talk about your doctors, your prescriptions, your family, your budget. Only then do we look at plans.
Because I’m independent, I’m not sent here by one insurance company. I work for you and I’m still here long after the paperwork is signed.
How we work
How We'll Work Together
1
We Listen First
We start by understanding your health, family, and budget — not by quoting a plan.
2
Compare Carriers
3
Stay Close After
Coverage changes, life changes, and AEP comes every year. We are here for the long haul.
Why Use an Independent Broker?
Your Advocate — Not the Insurance Company’s
When you work with Foxworth Insurance Agency, you’re not tied to just one insurance company. As an independent broker, we represent multiple highly rated carriers, allowing us to compare options and find the coverage that truly fits your needs and budget.
What Makes Us Different
Tailored For Your Needs
Captive Agent
Works for one company. They’re appointed by a single insurance carrier and can only offer that carrier’s plans.
One set of options. If their company’s plan doesn’t fit your doctors or budget, there’s no second option to show you.
Answers to the carrier. Their targets, training and incentives come from the company whose name is on the door.
The plan comes first. The conversation starts with what they have to sell, then works backwards to your situation.
Independent Broker
Works for you. I’m appointed with multiple carriers, so I compare across them instead of defending one.
Real options, side by side. If one carrier’s plan doesn’t fit, we look at the next. Your doctors and prescriptions decide, not my contract.
Answers to you. My only incentive is that you stay happy enough to call me again next year — and send your neighbor.
You come first. We start with your health, your budget and your family. The plan is the last thing we talk about, not the first.
